Thanks to Doxy for helping out with this class! He says it's good for playing!

Some things fail. Psychic powers can be blocked. Pokemon can fall unconscious. Even the heat of a flame is ineffective against some Pokemon. But there is one thing that can never fail. Training. Soldiers adhere to this principle to the letter. The seek victory not through raw strength, strange powers, or any other such weakness. Soldiers rely on honing their skills every day and, of course, their training. They don't use no fancy "Moves;" a good sword will take them home.

Soldiers follow a multitude of creeds. Some may fight for an evil overlord, others warriors of justice. What they all share is their dedication to technique, precision, and training. These are the people that run the longest, fight the hardest, and are the last to compromise their creed.

Soldier can really fit into any character. Any physical combatant will appreciate the Trained Stat as well as the few maneuvers they can utilize in combat. Their ability to harass opponents through Combat Stages, Tripping, Grappling, Disarming, and a host of other abilities is truly remarkable. Even a more Special oriented character can appreciate the Trained Stat. Perhaps the greatest thing about Soldier is that it makes for a very easy NPC opponent class. Its progression is fairly linear and you won't have to juggle a host of moves or decide between multiple statting paths. With all its way to make Struggle useful, a Soldier can be very dangerous.
